The pilots are gridding up for the day and are expecting to fly the following tasks: Open class will have a racing task of 332.6 km, 18 Meter racing task of 334.5 km and 15 Meter with a racing task of 332.1 km. The weather will be  on the hot and soft side with no cu’s. There have been some scattered cirrus over Uvalde this morning. Lift rates expected to be from 2 to 3 kts (1-1.5 m/s) at the start of the task and rising to 4 to 5 kts (2.0-2.5 m/s) between 1600-1800 hrs CDT. Launch will start at 13:50 CDT.
