Klaus Ohlmann could count more points than anybody ever did before in the OLC-Alps 2012 competition (6,840.52 points!). The Champion of the season 2011 Mathias Schunk scored 783 points less than Klaus and this year's Vice Champion. Third is the Austrian glider pilot Ernst Schicker. While Mathias worked on optimizing his big triangles, Klaus preferred to fly in extended yo-yos far longer than 1,000km. Launching in a Stemme S10 at his home airfield Serres La Batie in France, Klaus Ohlmann always tried to optimize wave, ridge lift and thermals.
