It was another hot hot day here in Uvalde. Some pilots flew the course hard and other tested a few areas out, but by and large it was a rest and prep day for most. Over 550 people came to a dinner hosted by the Uvalde Fire Department. Lots of cowboy hats, good beer, some fine dinner and good live country music to top it all off. Everyone is tucked away getting some rest for tomorrow’s big parade through downtown Uvalde. There will be over 70 floats in the parade, which starts at 8:30 CDT. By 9:30 CDT everyone will be at the Honey Bowl Stadium for the Opening Ceremonies. Expect lots of photos and coverage on this site as we ramp up for the start of the big event.
