Back in front of my computer after a few hours of running around this morning: press to attend to (we love them, they spread the word about our wonderful sport), pilots meeting, more press, launching …. and finally back here to continue telling stories.
After a brief from the weather team (light winds – 7-12 knots, 100 F, 9800 ft MSL maximum altitude, 4 o’clock expected to have 7-8 knots) I was lucky enough to be invited by the US team to attend their meeting and learn how they prepare their flying.
Dennis is doing a great job coordinating everybody and the guys are such great colleagues sharing information and supporting each other.
Soon we all headed for the runway, 12:40 expected launch time. The ground crew did an amazing job again with a wonderful launch, smooth and fast as it got us accustomed to. Thank you guys!
