Miss Daisy – Words About the Worlds

Back in front of my computer after a few hours of running around this morning: press to attend to (we love them, they spread the word about our wonderful sport), pilots meeting, more press, launching …. and finally back here to continue telling stories.

Dennis Linnekin - USA Team Captain - Andrea AlexandrescuAfter a brief from the weather team (light winds – 7-12 knots, 100 F, 9800 ft MSL maximum altitude, 4 o’clock expected to have 7-8 knots) I was lucky enough to be invited by the US team to attend their meeting and learn how they prepare their flying.
Dennis is doing a great job coordinating everybody and the guys are such great colleagues sharing information and supporting each other.

Soon we all headed for the runway, 12:40 expected launch time. The ground crew did an amazing job again with a wonderful launch, smooth and fast as it got us accustomed to. Thank you guys!
