Good morning on Day 8 of the WGC! Today it’s a well deserved rest day for all of us, but I still believe I owe you some reporting since yesterday morning.

Dinner Friday evening was wonderful at Uvalde Country Club. Although it was a bit delayed by the late landings, I had a great time with Leo Longhini and his lovely wife Jennifer (JS-1 dealer), John Good (as CD), Bob DeLeon (initiator of the LGG campaign and towing here), Richard Maleady (Chief Ground Operations), and the Concordia crew Rick Sheppe and Christian from Germany. As decided, we will do it again!

The launch yesterday was smooth, although a little bit delayed by the Cu’s that were proving to be shy in showing up and growing.

After the launch I had a short meeting with Ritz in the main tent where she invited me to take over writing for one of our common friends, Frauke Elber. She said she really enjoys my writing and would love if I would accept the job of writing about the 3 ladies competing in the WGC, so stay tuned for my article next week!
