Blue Ridge Soaring Society Celebrates 50th Anniversary

During the Labor Day weekend, about 130 former and present Blue Ridge Soaring Society members and friends gathered at New Castle International near Roanoke, Virginia to celebrate the club’s 50th anniversary. The weather added to the celebration by not providing any soaring weather so that the revelers could fully concentrate on partying.
