RASP Forecasts for Uvalde Contests

Dr. Jack RASP (Regional Atmospheric Soaring Prediction) forecasts are now available at
http://alcald.homelinux.org/RASP/UVALDE/FCST/RASPtable.html to provide coverage for the Uvlade TX super-regional, pre-world and USA open class contests running through August 19th. The forecasts are over a 2.6 km grid resolution up to 2 days in advance with multiple forecast times per day. (There are some vestigial links to 1.3 km forecasts that are not run and those links do not work).

Uvalde RASP Forecast

Glider pilot Alex Caldwell is kindly running these RASP forecast specifically for the contests, Alex also runs RASP forecasts for the
Central California Soaring Club based in Avenal, California. RASP forecasts were developed by Dr. Jack Glendening and are run in

The Uvlade RASP forecasts are also available in a simple iPhone RASP viewer at http://www.darryl-ramm.com/iRA​SP This viewer is designed to work on the iPhone iPod Touch, and iPad.
