Day 5 at BHSS, the best one yet

Good afternoon y’all,

After 2 days break, we are back at the field and in the contest :) .

I hope you all had your eyes on the tracker in the last couple of days, it is amazing how you can actually be a part of the race through this program, everybody is so excited about it. So here it is the link again – http://ssa.org/sailplanetracker/default.asp?.

Img-001Now quickly to catch up, yesterday ranking was: DJ – Doug, P7 – Gary, F2 – Sean, XG – Jerzy, JW – Jae.

Sean Fidler (F2) is doing a great job and it was so nice to watch him race in the last few days, he is much newer to this that most of the guys flying here and I thing he has great potential, so keep an eye on him, it will be interesting to see him perform! And I heard his lovely wife Tiffany is a great scorer – cool when all family is into soaring.

Flying with usThe weather for today looks great, the best day yet and pretty much of what you can get on the East coast (as Rhonda said) and all the pilots were excited to get out there and race. And they did, as the gate opened at 13:21. And they got birds flying with them.

The task for today is a modified assigned speed task: Winnsboro, Union, Bishopville, Pageland, Cheraw, Hartsville and home; 269.31 mi and a minimum time of 3:30h; Bermuda High and Kirk Airbase turn points are disallowed.Grid

Back soon with news, enjoy the tracker!
