Great to hear from you. I’ve followed and enjoyed the Soaring Café for some time now and the iGlide Give-Away was a great reason to sign up for the regular digest… And I won this week’s drawing – what a wonderful surprise, thank you all.

I live out west in Colorado and fly when and whereever I can. My most recent flight was a couple of weeks ago renting the 1-26 from Turf in Phoenix and the pictures are from a flight with my son and me last year in the club Blanik out of Val Air.  The idea of a stand alone, mobile, moving map and glide computer is perfect for my flying. I like the idea of having a state of the art instrument with logging capability in whatever ship I’m in. I think the newer technology complements traditional soaring flight freedom well, and makes it safer and more fun.

Thanks so much to The Soaring Café (great place) and Butterfly Aero (great soaring tools) for this fun and timely promotion. I’m glad to have won and plan to make use of the new app in the coming soaring season.
