Let’s ALL make this last day a GREAT and UNFORGETTABLE one , with the highest scores ever during a WGC. First launch delayed till 13.00!

Sniffer at 4000 ft with 2k. All team captains to the front of the runway for the B task!!!

 First launch delayed to 13.10

Wind has changed to the WSW. That’s where the “soup “comes from , under the soup however appear clouds as well.
Pilots look at the skies, with a bit of a worry BUT the voice from the CD announces First Launch at 13.10!!!!

4200 ft MSL with 2.8

B tasks for all classes . 15 m had already once a C task …now it is the first time for  open and 18 m. to get a B task. The tasks are instead of going to the W. first now to the E. where beautiful clouds “decorate” the skies!!!
Minimum time has changed to 2.15 hours!

13.05; Tuggies move to the launch area! It was sprayed this morning again. Thank you to Richard. AND….the first pilots are on tow at 13.09!!!!!!!! “The launch shall begin”…Ken said.
Still a bit cautious BUT …..when  they open the start for all classes

start for 18 m. opens at 14.41 …….is delayed now  with 10 minutes at 14.51 !!!!!!!!!!!!!
start for open class opens at 14.20
 
 SO HURRAY FOR TODAY …..day 13 ….last day here in Uvalde….bit sad…..!!!
 
           

15 m. 252.9 km/461 km.     18 m. 236.6  km / 423.2 km.   open 229.2 km / 396 km.

 
 
So what will be the decisions today ? Playing “pokies”? Go straight away to be sure to be back before the storms arrive, ….take a bit of a risk and wait for the best weather for this day, ….or do just what you did before, go first and be back first without seeing a “soul”. We will know in a few hours from now. Also who will win the day and this long pretty- demanding -on- everybody, 32 WGC in Uvalde Texas.

 Stay tuned for the updates! The weather now at nearly 3 looks brilliant HERE. Still some overcast but nice clouds under that as well.

Only 2 start times as yet. 15.05….So back  in half an hour!

—Just got another huge surprise. Changed plan ….to go to San Antonio tomorrow, got as a present a room for 2 nights in the Sheraton Hotel at the River Walk in the middle of town!!!! What about that?
