Today we gathered Florida’s “liquid sunshine”.  We had the scheduled 0945 all pilot’s meeting and received the brief as though we were going to fly.  The CD cancelled flight operations about 1100.

Although we saw rain, all day, it did not dampen the spirits of those who are here.  We all attended the “Welcome Seniors” dinner put on by the team at Seminole Lakes.  The food was great and the music provided by Sol Varon, a local musician and DJ.  He sang songs I remember from my earlier days and in most cases, I could close my eyes and hear the original artists voice.   His imitation of Willy Nelson was right on.

The audience really enjoyed the music and many got up and danced with their favorite partner and some shared the dance floor with whoever was dancing there. [insert wolf’s pictures; he is going to send them to you directly]Hopefully, tomorrow will bring XC quality weather.
