Cross Country Camp at CCSC 11-15 June 2012

Caesar Creek Soaring Club (CCSC) in Wayneville, Ohio will host a cross-country training camp 11-15 June 2012.  This is the week immediately prior to our normal regional contest, so you can attend the camp and get tuned up on cross-country and competition, and then put it to good use the very next week.

The camp is aimed at beginning to intermediate cross country pilots with an interest in racing.  We plan to have at least 4 two-place XC capable ships with experienced XC pilots as mentors and leaders in leader-follower packs of 3 or 4 gliders, in addition to other mentors in single-place ships.  Interested participants are expected to have at least a private glider license and a silver C badge or equivalent experience, and a XC capable glider in the standard Cirrus or better class.

We also plan to host Condor simulator races on any day that isn’t flyable in real-life, so we will be asking participants to bring a Condor setup with them (a decent laptop and joystick, and a Condor license with Plane Pack I and II).  Condor flying experience is desired but not required, as we will have experienced Condor pilots to help you get going.
