Junior World Gliding Championships – last day! (and other news)

Hello Racing Fans,

First – apologies for the absence of updates for the last few days – we have been exceptionally busy with some challenging flying (at least we are finally flying!) several retrieves and lots of events here on the airfield.

So today, in club class we have a 217.3 km racing task traveling first to the south, then to the east, just south of Stuttgart and then back to Musbach. There is a trough then a front approaching, with the possibility for wave and then squall lines. The window for getting a task off is very short, if at all. If we do fly, it’s expected that it will be a fast and furious day as pilots try and get finished before the conditions change.

The club class launches in about 40 minutes.

Kathy
