Day 8 at the Standard Class Nationals

And the Racing continues Race Fans with another day at the office. Bif Huss H7 office that is. Let the big dog eat… and eat he does with another win at 74+mph around Cordele Downs. He  whips Guest Baude Litt LBL by 2mph and throws his crop at the cowboy from New Mexico , Chip Garner CG.  That will be two wins in a row for the Jocky from the mile high state.

With one day to go, Phil Gaisford PG is hold his lead by 68 pts over CG and with the weather going soft tomorrow, who knows. But all these guys are rodeo kings and don’t fluster easily. True Grit

We tried another AT but was not to be with late developing conditions. We went with Task B (226 mi.) with a 10 mile ring around Perry, SW to Dawson (20) , SE to Adel (15) and home. Conditions were very much the same as Day 7, small widely spaced clouds that were honest, lighter winds, and blue gaps to cross. But at 7000′, who cares. Those who planned poorly came home earily and paid the price.

Still a perfect contest with no drama to report. Amazing
