Gordon Boettger  a leading pioneer of wave soaring is willing to perform overnight soaring.  He has recently broken the U.S soaring distance record for two-seat open class sailplanes, by flying 981 miles. Now he is aspiring to fly overnight and desiring to confront the limitations of sun setting. His wife Melissa said . “Most people who fly just do it to fly around , Gordon flies to break records.”  He spoke with AVweb’s Glenn Pew.  Listen to the interview here…
