Some Germans still soar over Texas – Tilo Holighaus tests the Quintus M

The World Gliding Championship of 2012 can be considered history, but some pilots couldn’t find their way back home yet. Schempp Hirth’s boss Tilo Holighaus and his friend, the designer of the Quintus M, Andi Lutz kept two of these new ships in Uvalde. They air-travelled on to Marfa, where they flight tested the new gliders in Texan conditions.
