The weekend after Labor Day is a tradition for the Dust Devil Dash in California. It is a one day race on the first Saturday after Labor Day. 23 pilots participated this year. Jim Payne explains: “The theory was that we would be able to make straight out flights but the short day would make for an easy retrieve.
