Miss Daisy – Words About the Worlds

Good morning on Day 12 at the WGC!

Today I had an earlier that usual start, delivering donuts to the weighing and ground operation crews. I was able to see these people working starting 7:30 in the morning and I will tell you all about it with pictures in a little while.

Today is promising to be the first day with typical Uvalde weather. Right now it looks totally overcast and like a no fly day, but we all know better! We are expecting over 7,500 MSL after 2:30 pm and rise to 8,500 MSL by 6:00 pm. Thermal conditions 4-5 kts between 3:00-5:00 pm and 5-6 kts between 5:00-7:00 pm.

The tasks today are longer, between 600 and 700 km. Grid time 12:10 and first launched scheduled for 12:40.
