Dan & Walts Weather

Finishers are rapidly coming into Uvalde at this hour, 1858 CDT, under a beautiful scattered cumulus filled sky. Our radiometer sounding profile indicates thermal tops and cloud bases at between 9,000 and 10,000ms. Soon I will post an animated gif loop of the day 1000 CDT to 1900 CDT showing an overview satellite photo of the day. The entire contest area is filled with scattered cumulus and no evidence of thunderstorms… even along the Gulf Coast sea breeze front.  Cirrus clouds moved across the Mexican border reaching Uvalde, but it appears that most classes were relatively unaffected.
