Certainly no regatta start today!

17.00 ;So start times will be crucial again today. With the knowledge that the better weather should be there at 3 it was interesting to see what the decisions would be.
In open class pilots left between 14.30 and 15.09.
In 18 m. between 15.04 and 15.26.
In 15 m. between 14.36 and 15.14.
It seems the lift is good under the clouds but also in the blue.
Ingo Renner loved the blue thermals and flew several 1000 km. flights in it. He still is the one and only 4 times champion on WGC’s with more classes. Is this going to change this year??? Just to inform you!!! There is ONLY one pilot who can do that …….Michael Sommer and IF he is going to do that , it will be even more spectacular as he did it in 4 consecutive WCG’s. BUT….let’s not go ahead of our selves or tempt fate!!!!

17.30 ; First open class pilots could be back 18.30, looking at their start time and the 4 hours task time…….guess most will come back around and after that time. Skies here look PERFECT!!!!Still a lot of wind and dust.

18.00 ;the Country and Western band for tonight is setting up their boxes and putting down their guitars.
Sorry “I let pilots go” to the N. first in my earlier blog, -must be the heat and wind and the many guests-,  while they went to the S. first .[corrected it by the way….and  I am only human too…hate to write something wrong though….]
Sorry about that. They are up N now and coming home soon. Leg for open class coming back from area 4 is nominal 127.2 km. and then still 43 to come home.
In 15 m. coming back from the last cylinder [nominal] is 103 km.
15 minutes to wait……radio is on …but the music as well and I can’t beat them…..

first finisher[s] as well at 18.20 ….saw 1 on the taxi way…small….

Just lost all the call signs from the finishers , ……give up for today.
So please look at the soaringspot.com site for all the finishes.

CU tomorrow cheers Ritz
