Another extraordinary day yesterday!

GOOD MORNING;  What a splendid day of soaring again. Great winners as well for the day, flying lot’s of kilometers and relaxing , as winner Pete in open class,  straight after the flight together with the Dutch open class team Francois and Peter and crew Baldrick and Jeroen.[picture shared from FB.]

So in open class Pete was the winner with 700 km. in 4.36, in the Antares 23, “pretty” good. Runner up was Laurent Aboulin with 686 km in 4.32,32 in the Quintus!!!
In 18 m.class UK team mates Mike and Russell departed first and came back with 674.8 km in 4 .29 and 683 km in 4.34 flying the ASG 29 and JS 1.
In 15 m. Sebastian Kawa raced as fast as he could over 596 km in 4.08. Runner up German pilot David Bauder [EI] with 591 km in 4.07.

No outlandings , a pity that one pilot landed wheels up on the tarmac and that “hurts”, that USA pilot John Seaborne missed the start line ,0 points…. tragic, and  the most hours flown yesterday ; 5 hours 11.
