What about the speeds? To fly a distance over 1,000 kilometers, you have to do travel quick! Jim Payne, Ed Salkeld, Philippe Athuil and Darren Brown mostly collected their speed points in Nevada. The dry air over the rough and desert like terrain again offered the best conditions. Maybe not as good as two weeks before, but Ely and Tonopah still attract the thermal hunters...
