Huge Dust Devils!

Short update; The weather was ” booming” today. Never saw so many “willie-willies”, as they call dust devils in Australia. And they looked “wild” and went “high” up.

Did you know that
–Lourens Goudriaan flies his 16th WGC…
–that Bruce Brockhoff from Australia misses us all and says hello to those who know him
–that the Concordia is so popular that the crew has an extra job; keeping too many people, who want to photograph it, away from it
–that the sky looks like a real Uvalde sky today
–that we heard only happy pilots over the radio
–that the Dutch team has a real fancy radio antenna at their “team hut”
–most of them were back around 7
–That Ed Hollestelle after 44 years living in Canada still speaks good Dutch
–that I had to organize a few other things today so not too much news.
–that Francois Jeremiasse from Holland might be the day winner in open class with 683 km!!!!!
–that there are no more scores at this stage
–that some pilots in open class did not finish today
–that the scorers, like Dan Cole, are doing a great job under the leadership of Leo Buckley and that they start now to find out who was the best today in all classes. Go for all scores to the official site.
