March 4 at Seminole – overcast and windy

Probably another no-fly day at Seminole today.  A big front, complete with thunder and rain came through last night.  Temperatures are lower (a good thing), and winds have switched around to the northwest (also a good thing).  However, winds are progged to be 25-35kt (a bad thing) and the trees around the airport are already moving around briskly, even at 9am.

My foray into Ocala yesterday was successful in that I was able to get the replacement part I needed, but unsuccessful in that replacing the part didn’t solve the problem, so I still can’t operate either my air conditioner (can’t run the  aircon anyway as I only have a 15-amp circuit) or the heater (which might or might not be necessary here).  So, I may wind up re-mounting my camper onto my pickup to take it to a service location at some point – a prospect I dread.
