What About 156.4 km/h Over 469 km During Nationals?!

Yes…sometimes trough lines are nice to follow and the organisers from the Tocumwal Multi-class Nationals gave the pilots in their AAT task the possibility to “play” with this trough line on the penultimate day of soaring during the Multi-class Nationals.

Arriving troughline as seen by Bruce Taylor.

This JS-1 fits Bruce as a glove and as he says himself, he loves “working in his office, another good day!” You may say so! 469 km with a speed of 156.4 km/h. Not bad…just great!

Most comps have finished now and you may say the season is over; however, you have still good soaring till Easter in Australia. Matamata, where the NZ Multi-class Nationals were held had seven days. Tocumwal with the Australian Multi-class Nationals as well even eight  in two classes and the normally last competition of the Australian season was in Horsham.

A happy Bruce Taylor, not only a good pilot but a fine blogger as well and what’s even better, he shares his flight with all of us!!! Good on him!!!

Glad to be in Uvalde next summer to see with my own eyes what he is going to do there during the WGC. Booked my ticket, and will arrive on the 28th of July!

Look for all the news about these comps at www.soaring.eu.

C-U next week!
